For the final project I created a collage like zine to show different places around Utah that are important to me. Or at the very least that I can tell some sort of story about. I decided to make it an eight page spread, the first couple of pages focusing on my own town and what I enjoy about it, and the others about other towns and parts of Utah that I like to visit, or that hold some sort of special connection to me. Most of the personal photos that were used were all taken when I was in middle school, so I decided to try and add some whimsy and create this zine as if I were still in middle school. Photoshop was used to edit the photos as well as add some personal touches to each page. Indesign was then used to organize the pages together and to also add text for the user to follow along besides the handwriting, and illustrator was used mainly for the cover. Due to the nature of this project I opted to use the fine art printer in the Granoff center to print the cover on matte paper, and then I used a regular color printer for the pages inside.
